"gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. it turns
what we have into enough, and more. it turns denial into acceptance,
chaos to order, confusion to clarity. it can turn a meal into a feast,
a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. gratitude makes sense of
our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."
my girl has a bad cough, and is therefore forced to miss the thanksgiving art projects at school. she is not happy to be in bed today.
cheering her up? a good movie with her dog and her knitting. (the apple doesn't fall far...)
"cate, watch your work, not the show. the stitches will get messed up," i say. "mom, i've got it," she says.
she loves knitting as much as her mom, and is finally at the point where all her stitches are neat and even and i don't have to sit next to her and help. it amazes me to watch her little hands go.
i'm so proud!
ps- details about all upcoming knitting events/ classes will be given sometime after thanksgiving. right now i'm in relax and cook mode! i just love this time of year.
yes, i was among the many crazies at the movie theater at midnight last night. and oh boy were my blues swept right away. i will just say this- for every laughable, stupid ounce of twilight, new moon brings pounds of perfection. i LOVED it. every second. loved it. loved it. loved it. love love love love love, loved it. loved it. LOVED LOVED loved it. seriously, i loved it. LOOOOOOOOVED it. love loved it.
