and most importantly..finding this poster that was on the cover of domino this month available for purchase for a good price ($30), to be framed and displayed in my home till the day i die..it's my version of "families are forever" :) ha. it's huge and i love it.

oh, and one more. my ipod. i love that thing. at the gym this morning i was quite impressed with my playlist making abilities :) every song made me happy from janis joplin to nirvana to kanye to the shins to belle & sebastian to white stripes to natasha bedingfield to....ok, a lot.

life.

well, i have been spending less time on the computer, and much more time trying to live with intention. how do i ever get away from that? how could you have a better day then walking up in the mountains with your family? i'm so silly to forget to take time for stuff like that...

and we've been have lots of playdates. lots of dress up and games...

i also have been good about going to yoga and walking (my exercises of choice). i feel soooo good. why is it that the things that make us really happy, that "matter most" do always get swallowed by those that "matter least"? same problem with food. the food that is so good for your body, and actually makes you feel so good and have energy is so much less tempting than the food that is poison!! i hate that. i guess life is all about learning to control your appetites and choose the better part...well, just a few days of the goals and we have all been much happier!

3. time allowed on computer = while eating breakfast, glance at naptime.
4. second priority = daily exercise
5. daily exercise = yoga, breathing, running, heart pumping. everyday.

and he got me an anthropologie gift card with lotsa money on it. and gave me the sweetest card that he "embellished" with scrapping stuff :) am i lucky or what? now off for a day of shopping and eating and holding hands!
