eta: just after publishing this post- there was a mysterious delivery on my doorstep. a favorite treat from my favorite treat shop!! whoever did this, you sure softened my hormonal heart. thank you, thank you, thank you.
- am a crappy mom. cate might say she likes it, though: it means a lot of tv watching for her.
- serve cereal or ramen noodles to my family for all three meals.
- guzzle diet coke and crave mcdonald's cheeseburgers.
- hate blogging.
- watch multiple episodes a day of my girls: gilmore and golden, respectively.
- engage in debates with my little sister about stupid things like what kind of cat we will have when we're old widows and live together.
- make grant sleep in the guest room so i can be in the middle of our king size bed because it is still firm there.
- never get out of my pajamas.
- don't call anyone i care about for fear of saying something rude that i don't really mean.
- take a lot of long baths.
- am seriously tempted to give other drivers the special finger (i don't).
- would eat a whole pan of brownies if i could just muster the energy to make them.
- feel really super awesome.
i'm actually excited for tomorrow, however. i have a few fabulous handmade goods to giveaway. be sure and come back to win. and i promise i'll be in a good mood.

Ha, ha, ha. You pretty much just described my life for the past two weeks. It's nice to be ornery sometimes, isn't it?

oh goodness, that gave me a chuckle today and I needed it! if I lived close enough I would certainly make you that pan of brownies in exchange for the giggles. thank you :)

Sounds like a fun weekend. I'm going to the movies, anyone else want to go? I think I will see the new 007 or maybe Quantum of Solace. perhaps I should start camping out for Twilight, no ladies I'm not really going to see that movie, what kind of man do you think I am. I think I will start on the Christmas lights and then go to the gym.

I'm right there with you.
Except for the ramen. Mine get pasta with butter.

Funny. I have days like that, too. I use to have a miracle pill to cure it, but the effects wore off and I just ended up getting headaches all day everyday. Now I just try and use caffeine. And my shows of choice (this week)are John and kate plus eight, House, Say yes to the dress and Pushing Daisies.

Ah, well, at least it's DIET Coke. I am chained to the non-diet stuff... sigh. And my kid would be thrilled with cereal and ramen! On my off-months, it's hot dogs (does that even count as REAL food?!)

This cheered me up. I like the debates with your sister about your future cat. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Look how much money you are saving by not making brownies, cutting down on laundry by wearing the same pajamas, AND feeding your family ramen! I say, "Go you!"

oh pms, how i love thee

Hello, I always check out your blog, I guess I'm either shy or a blog lurker because I have only commented once before!!! But this last post made me think that you must be my long lost twin. I am having the exact same kind of week. My kids have seen the booths of a fast food restaurant more times than I can count this week! I have gone to El Pollo loco so many times they know my kids by name, and what our order is! And yes the diet coke there is gooooood!!! I am desperately craving my homemade chocolate cookies that contain double the chocolate chips than they require, but am to lazy to make them!!! I walk around in circles thinking I need to clean the house, but it never seems to get done. I sit in front of the tv and watch far to much john and kate plus8 and the duggar family. The list goes on.... I guess it is just one of those weeks for us girls.

Have you heard of the book Original Fastfoods? It has a diet challenge in it called Daniel's challenge (and was written by an LDS couple). It is based off of the story of Daniel in the bible, when he fed the king and his men fresh fruits and a pulse, and they were stronger and healthier than ever. Anyways, I've heard/read many testimonials of people saying that this helped them conceive when they were unable to before.
I've also done some research on this topic and this article is very helpful as well.
http://www.holisticonline.com/Remedies/infertility/inf_effects-of-diet-on-infertility.htm
There are a lot of these types of articles out there to choose from.
I just wanted to share what I've learned with you, because I know this is a trial you are going through (from reading your blog) and hope it can help.

I'm real jealous of that cupcake. But not the week you're having.
