It's always so bittersweet seeing long distance friends, isn't it... Your post made me smile thinking of the fun I have with some of my friends who I don't get to see very often.

And the linens! And the colors of that embroidery!!! I am more than a little jealous. :)

I miss those guys too. They are good peeps. My husband has a man crush on Darren, and I am pretty sure it is reciprocated.

Looks like you had a lot of fun though! I don't have any friends that are THAT long distance, but I know the feeling of distant friends... It's no fun. I love the linens though! Wow, what an amazing find!

I love the tablecloth and I really love seeing the four of you looking so happy. Grant and Darren are hilarious and I wish you hadn't cropped the photo.

It was SUCH a great breakfast!!! :) Good times. Isn't that shortbread delightful? It's why I haven't lost more weight living in Scotland.

Also, I would love it if you say that in your interview. OJHS is a GREAT place, ESPECIALLY for a part-time job. You'll miss most of the meetings! I'm just mad that we could have taught NEXT DOOR to each other and now I'm SO far away.

We'll be home soon. Thanks for the love.

looking forward to seeing the quilts!!!

that embroidery is amazing. makes me wish i had friends in scotland who thrifted.

my husband likes to make inappropriate poses and comments to his bro-mances all the time. it's funny and disturbing.
