Oh I listened to John Denver yesterday too! And I was watching the show "Glee" and it was a director cut version, and the teacher sings a version of "Leaving On A Jet Plane." It was pretty good :D

I wish I owned that pink typewriter! Enjoy the weekend!!

My sister and I love watching all of those funny cat video,s and yours were not to be missed. I'm laughing so hard I'm crying. Can't wait for the little sis' to watch, too. Hah! :) Thanks for sharing.

Listening to John Denver feels, to me, like wrapping a warm, soft blanket around my shoulders. It's so peaceful and so true. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Kelly!! I'm pretty excited too!

i couldn't fall asleep without jim dale's soothing narration for a good... 6 years. when i left for college i decided that it was probably in my best interest if i did not attempt to have my roommates try to fall asleep to "chapter 17- snape's grudge". so yes, they are now something i enjoy only at home (and also because my dad totally stole them all from me). harry potter audio books are awesome!!!

how great is John Denver?? I grew up listening to him in the car when we were on car trips (long car trips!) and I still think of him and his beautiful songs. must get some on my ipod!!
thanks, Kelly :)

John Denver went to my high school. My mom was a year or so older than him.
His stuff is great!
(The local story --so it may not be true-- is that he played his guitar for a talent show or something and people booed. People in high school can be so mean.)

ohhhhh shoot, those cat videos just about KILLED me. and kudos to you on the twilight reference, you are spot on! i think coco and i must be kindred spirits, in the anne shirley kind of way.

(john denver will always remind me of my aunt's mother, sadly/randomly.)

Loved those cat videos. This post made me smile.

That reminds me...I need to listen to some John Denver. His songs are so peaceful and calming. I miss him.

are you pregnant?

you are so funny! what a great way to express yourself - letters to the ones (things) you love! dear obama- pls fix the world - even though you might be the antichrist (according to the history channel)

Dear Kelly,
I will teach you how to love cleaning your house if you will teach me how to sew.

Love,
Jaime

will you share your recipe for peach butter?

Yes yes the recipe!! I think it is just mean to taunt us without the recipe. Maybe we will all have to drive over and raid your panty and steal your jars instead. That sounds so yummy!!!!

Dear Kelly,

You write the most interesting, fascinating, real, genuine, whatever's on your mind, kind of posts. I really like how your brain and heart speak. Oh, and did I mention....real and genuine??? What a sweet sweet spirit.

yes, the cupcake was everything i hoped it would be... thank you for the recommendation- you were right on. now i am on a mission to recreate that tres leches yumminess that you introduced me to (darn you and darn cafe rio for not being here in california). hope you and grant had a wonderful time!

dear kelly mcCaleb:
oh how we can't WAIT for your fantastic vintage fabric crafting at Spark!
mmm*wah!
R

dear kelly, this reminds me of when jimmy fallon writes his thank you notes, which i LOVE. and i LOVE that you're writing notes here too. HUGS and can't wait to talk more about the thing with the thing and the thing.

There is a pink typewriter on Etsy (was last week) for $250.00...very charming and cute.
