definitely. when i was scrapper, i used to have to organize everything for an hour and a half before i could even get started with the pictures. that's most of the reason i gave it up!

I'm the same. off now to have a big clean up!

it just clicked in my head why i need to have my kitchen clean...it's where i do my creating! but i must admit, lately i'm having a little creation envy. sometimes i want what i create to last past mealtime :)

There's nothing like a clean clutter place to create:) Adore these pictures and needed this post today as I continue to immerse myself in setting up my new studio:)

So a friend told me to look at your cute blog and etsy shop. I was loving everything- especially your darling wallpaper quilt kit(which I covet now)and as I was looking at your blog I couldn't believe it when I saw this beautiful blond girl (that looked really familiar to me) and her darling little daughter. Could it be that I knew this person and attended her wedding reception? Yes- I think so! Man I'm getting old! This blog belongs to my long lost roommate from those (not always so wonderful)college days! :) How are you Kelly? You are just beautiful and so creative and talented and I love your blog and all your creations! Congratulations on your happy little life and cute family. You're a doll!

i want to play in there.

thanks for the inspiration fill for the day. your creating space is lovely.

Where did you get the lovely pink pillow with the deer on it?

I agree with you, when everything is all tidy I always feel more creative. It's always a tug and pull with me, because I will get everything clean and then I want to create, create, create. Then the whole house ends up a mess, because all I have been doing is creating. Then I don't want to do anything, sometimes I feel like I don't know where to start. Then I finally push myself to clean up. Then the whole thing starts over :)

I COMPLETELY agree. I canNOT create until everything is calm and clean.

Which is exactly why I haven't created anything (other than babies) for the last 6 years.

I had 4 kids in 5 years and it's NEVER clean or calm. It's a red letter day when there aren't dishes piled on the counters and laundry stacked on the couch.

I'm lucky to keep up with the necessities.

No calm + No clean = no creating.

ohh it´s so clean and calm your place to create, i like it.
"Were women create" it´s a good book, do you think?

Cleanliness is a good habit and organization is an integral part of life.Everything looks good and attractive when organized properly.
so this room is looking so beautiful and fantastic after being organized.A good women is one who knows to organize her house. In Organized women always make a mess of her house.

wow your studio is a beautiful creation in of itself! I wish I could sit in there, drink some peppermint tea and make something...anything.

Ahh, so inspiring. I need to finally finish unpacking my sewing room. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation.

Now, weird question: Where did you get your white metal shelves? I'm looking for those exact shelves, but don't know where to find them. Thanks!!
