i did want to share some photos of my spark class taken by the outstanding wynona robison. the class project was embellishing t-shirts- but that was just the vehicle for sharing my love of fabric, trim, lace, and creative play. i brought a ton of my own thrifted fabric and vintage trims and let the students dig in the piles of deliciousness to create something of their own. very fun.
the last pic is of the event "grounds" at night. the spark ladies did an AMAZING job decorating and making the whole experience feel magical.

Ooo-ooo- that blur of a person in deep createve thought, with the turquoise shirt over the long sleeve white-t is me!!! How exciting to be on "my happy little life"
Your vintage fabrics class and Jefra's photography class were my favorites!!! love, love, l-o-v-e-d 'em- Thanks again!

Do you know why I like your blog? It is so sincere and down-to-Earth. I have liked blogs in the past but then became a bit irritated when people would post things like "I have so many people interested in my blog that I just don't have time to write you back but thanks for the comments and keep leaving them!"
Am I just sensitive or is that a little blog-snobbish? Sheesh! I love that you are artistic, sincere, and humble. You're a very talented person so you have much to gloat about! Thank you for sharing your projects with us and inspiring women everywhere to be happy!

Wow, that looks insanely MAGICAL! If I lived in the area, I for certain would have signed up for your beautiful class! I especially love the way you strung the scrapbook layouts - gorgeous! :)

Creative play, that sounds divine! {Although my creative play is most often with brownie mixes, my 4 children, and words.}
