remember how i was saying that i have a million scraps of paper where my mom wrote down tidbits she wanted to remember about me, or funny things i said? wouldn't these ideas be great to do that for your kids, too?:
from inchmark
brooke writes down her kid's antics on whatever paper is handy and then sticks them in an old spaghetti jar- how low maintenance yet so cool looking! literally no prep work, just instant "scrapbook". stick a full jar in your child's memory box, and done.

i bought a notebook like this that i keep all of my mother's little notes in. how fun to dress it up with other momentos and pretty scraps? i have also stuck favorite photos in the pockets. fast and meaningful.
ps- i'm starting the jar idea to-day.

YES!! I have been trying to figure out an easy way I can write down things about James. I love it!

I've actually been doing this with my son for the past two years. The jar is a great way to open up on days where you feel like you might pull your hair out. :)

this is a great idea. I've been thinking lately about how many cute things my kids say and do have gone undocumented. I think even I could manage this one!
PS I really enjoyed reading your mother's day posts. thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights.
